BLS Healthcare Provider

The Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for healthcare providers and first responders that work in different healthcare settings and disciplines. The BLS certification is recognized on a national level and may be a requirement for the healthcare facility you work with.


In this course, you will learn:


  • Chain of Survival
  • 1-rescuer / 2-rescuer CPR
  • High-quality chest compressions with a feedback device
  • Multi-rescuer team CPR
  • Adult, Child and Infant CPR and relief of choking
  • Use of an AED
  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device and bag-mask device
  • Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
  • Additional topics: Maternal cardiac arrest;  Anaphylaxis;  Drowning;  Heart attack and stroke.


 For more information on whether the BLS certification is required for your profession and workplace, check with your professional order or speak to your employer.


The BLS certification is valid for 1 year in Quebec.

Cost of course varies depending on group size.

Course duration: ~3.5 hours

Materials provided on site.

Available anywhere in Montreal. 


As per the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada guidelines, a minimum of  3 students must be registered per course.
